Dos Senoritas - Mexican - Gladesville * recommend*

Dos Senoritas is been a local favorite for years (according to online rating). They're located on the main street of Gladesville and there are plenty of street parking near the restaurant.

Dos Senoritas is a very small and home surburb restaurant. As soon as you walk in, it's like you are in Maxico city.

None of us speaks Spanish or Nahuatl, on the wall there're beer caps spelled BESAME. Only think I can think of is the title of a very famous song in Mexico it goes "Besame Mucho" and that actually means "Kiss me many times." Don't you feel warmed already? ^^

Also, there's dry crobs play part of decoration.

As soon as we sat down, we had a big mountain of nachos are complimentary started and it comes with delicious homemade sauce.

This is a very interesting drink - Horchata (if i remember the name correctly)
It's a transitional Mexican rice drink, very mild and refreshing beverage.

Of course some local beers (I mean Mexican local)
The left hand side beer its a bit like Corona, served in same style.

First stop, seven layer beef served with nachos.
Seven layer includes diced chili, onion, fresh avocado, homemade tomato sauce, shredded braised beef, coriander.....I am sure there were more than 7 ingredients....I was too enjoy the flavor to remember the menu. (you will need to try it yourself now...^^)
The technique of eating this dish is digging deep through as much layers as possible with you nachos and enjoy the taste of heaven. The flavor is indescribable - simply amazing!

Hibiscus flower drink - this one is very mild sweet and sour drink. Doesn't the colour looks very appealing?

Mexican Margarita - be careful with this Margarita, very strong!

nice!

Mind you, on the picture, some dishes might look familiar but the taste is definitely not. Do read the menu clearly.
Most of the main in Dos Senoritas comes with the similar set of side dishes - baked beans, fresh avocado paste, and Mexican rice.

Signature dish Fish Buritos

Soft taco wrap with spiced beef - this is a must order dish. I love the spice they put in marinated beef and the Mexican rice is just so tasty.

Chocolate Chicken - Mexican Style
Very strange combination from the name, but the taste is actually quite nice. You can taste the strong creamy dark chocolate sauce. Quite unique taste, very mild so don't worry to hard to swallow.

Seafood stir fried served with hard or soft taco - very nice combination of spice in this dish.

Just place seafood in the center and roll it up.

We went on a Sat. night. The waiters were extremely friendly and entertaining. After a busy night, they offer to teach us Mexican dancing. Who would be volunteer from our table? Of course the birthday boy!
Very quickly our friends been dressed in Mexican style. After a brief teaching, when the music starts, that's when we are all laughing to the ground....brilliant fun!
Bravo to the guess dancers!!

If you want to take a picture with one of those stylish sombrero (Mexican hats), please ask the waiter from the store to take it down for you. They're quite heavy.

Special dinner with special people - Happy birthday Dave!
