I travel to Huahin for couple of days from Bangkok.
Coincidentally, our friends are also on their holidays. Before heading to the resturant, we went to their resort.
Cher is modern resort in Cha-am (I hope I got the name right, very close to Huahin city)
If you are coming here with your partner, don't forget to mention and require a villa that's close to the beach.
The room is very spacious. With full glasses windows through out the bedroom, dinning room, and even bathroom. Do not afraid to be seen, the room are fully private and completely isolated from the outside pool.
The whole idea is to draw you outside of the room and still feel comfortable within.
Step outside of the room, it's you garden. Swiming pool is been elevated to second floor. Take stairs from the garden, you can enjoy with your partner and have the whole ocean view for your own.
Open a bottle of champagne, cheers to the sky, watching sunset from the end of the ocean line. This is in your dream or not?
One step away from your private villa, you gate will lead you to bar next to the Cher pool. The view is just stunning.

Right next the Cher resort is this restaurant I am going to recommend today. (You could also order you meal and be delivered to you room from Cher, simply just tell front desk.)
It's called Platoon (I actually forgot the name so let's called it Platoon), all the service will all wear this T-Shirt. If you see them, meaning you're at the right place.

Deep fried fish with sweet and chili sauce and covered with lemongrass and other herbs
Definitely should try this dish while you are in Thailand! The thai herbs compliments the softness and sweetness of the fish....fabulous!
This is a traditional seafood soup
For those can't handle spicy, stay away from this dish. Just take a look how much killer chilies they've added into this soup. On the other hand, if you like me love sour and spicy seafood soup with octopus and fish...this is a must try!
Steam Crab meat (don't miss the sauce, delicious!)
