I understand a lot of people love the Vietnamese roll in Mascot, trust me, been there done that. I do not really think it's worthy for me after driving for more than half and hour, then queuing for a long while. If you are a fan of Mascot store, you would know how long the queues are......everytime! Such a popular place.
Okay, today, I want to introduce my favorite in Sydney located in Hustville called King's Hot Bread.
It's a small local bakery with a hidden treasury inside. If you are walking pass by and wondering why are people queuing for. Take a look further in, you will love it. I am sure!
What they offer?
Traditional Pork roll, Chicken roll, DimSim roll, and salad roll...recently they developed Teriyaki chicken roll take a look. Usually without requesting, all bread rolls are the same. Otherwise, please let the shop assistant what bread you prefer when you are taking your order. Average priced at $4.00.....
I love their pork roll so much and have been stuck with it for years. Usually a pork roll will include 3 different slices of pork with pickled carrot, coriander, cucumber, shallot, chili, onion and top with home made soy sauce. (this will be the same combination with chicken roll and salad roll). Don't forget to tell the shop assistant if you have any allergies or preference on salad selections. (extra might apply)
The most famous roll has finally arrived!
Best consume straight away after purchase. Warm, mouthwatering scent of fresh baked bread stuffed with layers of selection of pork layers and salad is the best!
Every bite are goodness!
If you want to take extra home for your to eat later, recommend to finish it with in a day. Simply placed it in the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degree.
