Lunch Buffet@ Grand Haytt Erawan Hotel (Bangkok) * recommend*

This is properly the fifth or sixth time I am visiting Bangkok Thailand and each time is been a mind opening experience. Thailand is known by their culinary specialty and eatery culture, of course, superb services.
Aunty invited us to a brunch with her at 5-star Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel.
If you have been to Bangkok, you would know it's a very busy and crowed tropical (hot) city. As soon as we step into the hotel the cold breeze and classic piano playing at the background embraced us. Suddenly, the heavenly like calmness lay on us, we're relaxed. The hallway is very spacious and covered by European interior designs.

The buffet is on second floor, and you are welcomed by staffs and lead to our table.
No time wasted here, let's have a look at the food!
For Starter, assorted in house baked breads, biscuits with wide range of cheese, dry fruits, and creams etc.

What really caught my eye is this - whole imported leg ham!!! The waiter will slice for the amount you required. The presentation, the taste, the freshness....I can only say, it's good to be alive.....!

The buffet is combination of international, Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisines. The wide range of pasta, noodles, and steaks are prepared on request.
You can also find plenty choices of Thai salad here, papaya salad, fruit salad, Larb etc etc....

Also, Sushimi and sushi are freshly made here by their Japanese chef.

Chinese food is also in some of the hot food section, almost all the dumpling and bums you can find in Yumcha is served there. As well as crab meat wonton noodle soup, just exquisite!!

It was very difficult to decide what desert to choose, so we had a bit of everything...^^chocolate fondue, range of cakes, patisseries. Don't be shy in Thailand. Thai are very polite, no one will stare at your pile of deserts, they understand you are Farung, meaning foreigners. In another word, eat a lot is expected. ^^

I love Thai deserts, especially this stick rice and fresh mango with coconut cream or custard below. Just simply perfecto!

How much for this tremendous buffet?

roughly 1490 baht for buffet only or  + 500 baht Wine buffet pour till 11pm (great value!)
