non-alcohol & low sugar party drinks

As a host, party drinks is often the duty. What to buy? Coke, Diet Cook, Sprite, Fanta.....all those local supermarket shelf drinks are very high sugar content. Do we really want to see our kids running around hyper and out of control by those drinks?
Why don't you try something different?

1. Grassgelly drink $15 per box of 24 or $1 each

Do not be afraid! This is not a grass drink it's grassgelly which is made of Chinese herbal gelly with suger syrup. It is a very popular drink in China and south east Asia . Great cold drink for summer weather.

2. Calpis Water $1.50 each

Calpis water is a yogurt like beverage served in cold and available in all Japanese restaurants and Asian convenience stores. It is low in calories (for those diet girls, it has 0% fat + 29 calories in per 100ml)

3. Lemon Lime bitter Cordial by Bickford's (available in any supermarket)

This cordial is sweet enough for me, simply mix with soda water add a twist of lime juice. Perfecto!

4. Aloe Vera (Asian store)
There are some more healthy sugar free Aloe Vera available in stores now. You still can taste the sweetness.

5. POKKA Jasmine Green Tea

I love this Jasmine green tea the most! It has a strong tea flavor and the sweetness is just right for me.

7. Jasmine Green Tea

You should be able to find Jasmine green tea from a lot of health food store, tea shops, or Asian groceries. If you have not ever tried roasted tea (not the one in tea bags), it is quite different. A good tea has different layers of taste depends on how many times you have added the water into your pot and at the end of it should have a hint of sweetness.

8. Roselle  Syrup (available in Thai stores)
The roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa, know as Rosella in Australia, or 洛神花 ) is a species of Hibiscus native to the Old World tropics, used for the production of bast fibre and as an infusion. Mix with soda water and it taste simillar to cranberries (sweet and sour).
